This complete pool renovation and landscape project in Alexandra Headland was initially driven by the clients’ desire to reclaim privacy and refresh their outdoor space after neighbouring construction introduced significant overlooking into the backyard.

The scope soon expanded into a full backyard transformation, including the revitalisation of an outdated pool zone. A key design challenge was softening the existing faux rock waterfall feature. Clever planting was introduced to gradually conceal the dated structure, while stone-clad planter boxes were incorporated to allow for additional greenery and a more cohesive visual finish — a thoughtful approach typical of high-end Landscaping Sunshine Coast projects.

A new spa was craned into position and paired with a custom roof and trellis structure, designed to provide privacy while remaining visually light. Integrated decking surrounds the spa, with extensive tiling carried throughout the outdoor zones for a refined, cohesive finish.

Completed with lush planting and garden lighting, the result is a beautiful example of relaxed coastal living — and of considered outdoor construction on the Sunshine Coast, tailored to both lifestyle and long-term enjoyment.
