This architecturally designed home on the Mooloolah river was landscaped to resemble the clients lush tropical retreat in the daintree.
The feature entry for this home incorporates wamberal stone clad curved bench seating around a firepit with surrounding blue stone steppers interspersed with zoysia no mow grass. The noise of water running over the sandstone feature into the large pond takes you away to another place.
Planting was designed to screen off the busy road and create a beautiful backdrop as you enter and leave the home . Using the existing twenty year old Cupaniasis , enough shelter from wind and filtered light gave the opportunity to use tropical lush plants not normally seen only 100m away from the beach .
A wire trellis was used to screen off the neighbours and keep the privacy for both the area and the main bedroom .
Tropical planting surrounds this design and ties this feature of the garden in with the rest of the landscaping around the home.
